HR Recruitment at SIAD Romania

SIAD Romania is the local subsidiary of the SIAD Group, one of the main European players in the field of industrial gases and technologies dedicated to a large variety of industries: from metal fabrication to petroleum, from chemical to glass manufacturing, from food and beverages to health care.

In accordance to its strategy for development and growth the management of SIAD Romania decided in early 2010 to enlarge its Sales and Logistics teams and open five new positions for Sales Representatives, Technical Support Engineer, New Applications Specialist and Logistics Coordinator in order to be able to better serve their current and future customer base.

After a period of market investigation into the field of recruitment services the management decided to call in ROSS Consultants to undertake the recruitment projects for the above positions.

Our management consultant took a phased approach to these projects that included the following steps:

  • the definition and understanding of the company requirements and expectations in terms of jobs, candidates and process;
  • the candidates search and initial selection;
  • a first interview with the candidates;
  • a second, in depth interview with the candidates;
  • a third interview with the candidates and the company management;
  • a fourh interview with the candidates and SIAD Group management;
  • final decision, offer presentation, negotiation and employment contract signing;
  • project closure, communication to candidates that were not selected during the process.

The result of the above approach was a successful finalization of the projects taking into consideration three main aspects:

  • the management’s satisfaction with their choice of candidate for each position;
  • the candidates’ satisfaction with the employment offer, working conditions and prospects offered by SIAD Romania;
  • the satisfaction of ROSS Consultants to have met their customer’s and candidates’ expectations in terms of project results and undertaking.

Following the good collaboration and results delivered during this first series of projects ROSS Consultants continued to work with SIAD Romania on other recruitment assignments.
