Nordstrom, an American clothing and footwear stores chain became synonymous with customer service excellence. Stories about extraordinary service actions performed by its employees, real or not, have helped at forming an image at which many companies aspire. Apparently, everything is based on a single and simple rule that employees are encouraged to follow: “Use your good judgement in all situations”.
